The Iowa Board of Regents announced the hiring of a firm to find the next president at the University of Iowa.
AGB Search, of Washington DC, will be paid a fixed $90,000 fee plus expenses to conduct the search. They will be tasked with advertising the vacancy, recruiting candidates, screening them, coordinating interviews and conducting background checks.
The firm was employed by the Regents to find the latest hires for University of Northern Iowa and Iowa State University presidents.
Earlier this week, the Regents announced the campus community members who will serve on the search committee. It will be co-chaired by College of Nursing associate professor and interim executive associate dean Sandy Daack-Hirsch, and Graduate College associate provost and Dean John Keller.
