Cedar Rapids Police have identified the two men found deceased from a shooting last Thursday.
Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call just after 8:20pm about numerous gunshots being fired in the area of 3940 Sherman St NE. Responding officers located three adult males suffering from numerous gunshot wounds in the parking lot. Two of the subjects were found to be deceased from their injuries and a third subject was suffering from serious injuries and transported to a local hospital for medical care.
The fatalities have been identified as 21-year-old Myron Snyder and 21-year-old Maurice Brown, both of Cedar Rapids. The third individual’s name has not been released.
This incident is under investigation and the CRPD says no other information will be released at this time.
