The Iowa Heartlanders have the opportunity to win the first playoff series in the team’s history Sunday afternoon when they travel to Ft. Wayne for the team’s Game 6 ECHL Central Division Semifinal matchup against the Komets.
Iowa has a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series after back-to-back home wins this week. Even though the rest of the series will be played in Indiana, the Heartlanders will host watch parties for Game 6 at 3:30 Sunday afternoon at Field Day Brewing in North Liberty and, if necessary, Game 7 on Tuesday at Big Grove in Iowa City.
