A convicted child sexual abuser has died in custody at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center.
The Iowa Department of Corrections reports 81-year-old Raymond John Miller was pronounced dead at 4:15 Tuesday morning at the Coralville facility.
Miller had been serving a 25-year sentence for sexual contact with multiple juvenile victims in Carroll County from 2007 to 2015. His sentence began on May 25, 2022.
