Traffic Alert – Upper City Park

Demolition of City Park Pool

Travel in Upper City Park will be impacted beginning Wednesday, May 14, 2025, through late May 2026. Impacts to travel include:

Daily road closures on the Upper City Park loop near the intersection of Oakridge Avenue and Templin Road.
Parking will be closed on the east side of the Upper City Park loop.
Glass recycling will still be available near its current location. Please direct questions to jwilch@iowa-city.org or 319-887-6110.

The closures are necessary for the construction of the City Park Pool Replacement Project. Find more information on the project at icgov.org/JumpIn.
