Iowa City firefighters responded to their second gas line break in as many days Thursday.
The Iowa City Fire Department was called to the scene of the second break on the 1300 block of Muscatine Avenue just before 1:30 p.m. All units were cleared from the scene just over a half-hour later.
The ICFD was called to another gas line break the day before, on the 500 block of South Lucas Street just after 10:15 a.m. That situation was also safely resolved in just over a half-hour.
