The City of West Liberty’s former Water and Sewer Superintendent has been sentenced to life in prison on numerous sexual abuse charges.

39-year-old Daniel Goodale was arrested last July for an incident that occurred earlier that month away from his workplace.  Few details have been released, but the victim is listed as a minor, and Goodale was charged with seven different felony sexual abuse counts.

Goodale eventually reached a plea deal, and on Friday Judge Thomas Reidel sentenced him to life in prison.
