A Lone Tree woman who is the subject of a no-contact order was arrested last week after allegedly posting the order on her lawn, facing the other party.
The victim contacted a Johnson County Sheriff’s deputy and said that 29-year-old Kennedi Lehman had put a sign in her yard facing towards her home showing the no-contact order issued by the court with a note at the bottom that reportedly said “Protect your kids.” The woman added that she was worried for the safety of herself and her kids and was frustrated that Lehman continued to harass her despite the no-contact order, which was issued on July 11th.
Lehman was charged with contempt and released on her own recognizance. An additional no contact order was issued by Judge Jason Burns on Tuesday and hearing was set for August 7th.
