A four-year-old was injured when she was hit by a vehicle in Louisa County.
The Iowa State Patrol says 29-year-old Katelin Lilly of Wapello was driving a 2018 Kia Sorrento just before 6:30 Saturday night when she turned into an alley off Jefferson Street in Wapello. That’s where investigators say her front tire struck the four-year-old. The girl was airlifted to University of Iowa Health Care on Hawkins Drive in Iowa City with what are described as “serious” injuries.
