The Iowa City Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 11:47 a.m., Thursday at 50 Amber Lane.
A release from the city indicates responding units encountered significant smoke showing from the back side of the home. The fire was brought under control at 12:07 p.m. The home sustained moderate damage due to the fire and the cause remains under investigation.
There were no reported injuries to civilians or firefighters; however, two occupants of the home were displaced.
The Iowa City Fire Department was assisted by the Johnson County Joint Emergency Communications Center.
A damage estimate was not made immediately available.
