A suspect has been arrested following a police chase near Riverside.
According to Washington County dispatch records, 69-year-old Anas Kisongele of Marshalltown led a deputy on a brief chase along Highway 218 just before 5:45 Thanksgiving morning. Kisongele was reportedly travelling at 96 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone. He eventually pulled over and was arrested for speeding, reckless driving, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, and having an expired registration.
