An Iowa City man was arrested after an alleged harassment incident.
According to police, 60-year-old Tony Davis of Rochester Avenue got into an argument with two other individuals on January 2nd. Davis reportedly started to frighten one of the victims so they told the other person to call police. Davis allegedly told her if she did call police, he would shoot the other person in the head, shoot her, then shoot himself.
The victims said Davis’ statement put them in fear for their lives.
A warrant was issued Monday; Davis was booked into the Johnson County Jail Thursday night. He’s charged with two counts of harassment and could be sentenced to a total of four years in prison if convicted.
A no-contact order was requested by both alleged victims.
