IOWA CITY, Iowa – The top-ranked University of Iowa women’s wrestling team is unable to make the trip to Albany, New York, for this weekend’s Journeymen College Duals due to travel complications.
“We are disappointed that we won’t be able to compete in Albany this weekend,” said Head Coach Clarissa Chun. “The Journeymen is a great event, and we were looking forward to the opportunity to compete. Unfortunately, plane mechanical issues and forecasted weather make travel impossible.”
The Hawkeyes return to action on Saturday, Feb. 7, traveling to Des Moines, Iowa, for the Grand View Open. On Feb. 8, the Hawkeyes will compete at the For Her Dual Tournament at Xtream Arena.
