A North Liberty woman faces a felony charge after allegedly assaulting a nurse in the University of Iowa Health Care system.
UI Police say 23-year-old Avery Liebe of North Main Street was being seen at UIHC Downtown on East Market Street on the afternoon of January 16th when she was asked to change into hospital clothes. Liebe allegedly responded by kicking a nurse in the leg, causing pain and swelling.
Liebe is now charged with Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations Causing Injury. If convicted, she faces a maximum of five years in prison.
