The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities says continued warm temperatures today combined with dead fuels and southeast winds gusting to 35 miles per hour will produce elevated fire danger conditions.
Any fire that develops will spread quickly.
The Weather Service says to avoid outdoor burning today and follow local official guidance on potential burn bans.
