A convicted sex offender has died in custody at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center in Coralville.
The Iowa Department of Corrections reports 65-year-old Anthony Harold Todd was pronounced dead at 9:15 Wednesday morning in a hospice room at the Oakdale facility.
Todd had been serving a five-year prison sentence after pleading guilty last year to charges of Lascivious Acts with a Child, Invasion of Privacy, and Possession of Child Pornography in Fayette County. His sentence began last month.
