A North Liberty man was arrested on a warrant stemming from an incident earlier this month.
According to court documents, the incident occurred on March 6th at the Exchange Street residence of 38-year-old Michael Anthony Green. At approximately 8:30pm, he and the victim got into an altercation that led to Green pushing him to the floor and repeatedly striking him in the head.
The victim lost a tooth as a result of the altercation.
A warrant was issued March 9th, and Green was taken into custody Tuesday. He faces a charge of Assault causing Bodily Injury, a serious misdemeanor punishable by a jail sentence of up to a year if convicted.
