Multi vehicle accident closes I-80 overnight

A multi-vehicle accident closed a stretch of Interstate 80 overnight.
The Iowa State Patrol and Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the crash site on westbound I-80 near mile marker 236 just after 2:30 Thursday morning. Witnesses say at least one semi was involved. Investigators say there were multiple injuries, and University of Iowa Aircare was called to the scene.
The accident closed down westbound I-80 between the Tiffin and Oxford exits for over three hours.
No other details have been released.
