Ten people were cited for being in a bar after 10pm while underage during a rare weeknight police check of downtown Iowa City bars late Thursday night and early Friday morning.
Online records show five people were cited at The Fieldhouse on The Ped Mall, while another five were cited at The Airliner on South Clinton Street.
Presence on Premises After Hours is a simple misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $250.
Two other people were charged with Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct: One each at The Fieldhouse and The Summit on South Clinton Street.
