Officials investigating ‘suspicious’ death in Washington

Authorities are investigating what they’ve labeled a “suspicious death” in Washington.
The Iowa Department of Public Safety says in a news release local police were called a little before 8 a.m. Wednesday to 601 West Adams Street in Washington after a report of a dead body being found in an apartment complex.
Shortly thereafter, Washington Police called the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation to aid in the investigation. The DPS says that investigation remains ongoing.
Officials are withholding the dead person’s name until family members can be notified.
