A fight among neighbors that led to an alleged burglary and hair-pulling incident has led to an Iowa City woman’s arrest.
30-year-old Kalsy Williams of Davis Street was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 7pm Wednesday. Iowa City Police say Williams entered a neighbor’s home on Tracy Lane around 6pm on April 9th without permission. She was told to leave, but refused.
Williams then allegedly grabbed one of the residents by the hair and threw her to the ground, then continued assaulting her with strikes to the face.
The alleged victim complained of pain to her cheek, head and mouth, as well as swelling to her cheek, a laceration inside her lip and a large quantity of hair torn loose from her scalp.
Williams is charged with 2nd Degree Burglary. If convicted, she faces a maximum of ten years in prison.
