University of Iowa Police say a North Liberty woman conducted a series of thefts at the UI Campus Recreation and Wellness Center earlier this year, then went on a spending spree at the Coral Ridge Mall.

24-year-old Tamara Longmire of Penn Oaks Drive was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 1pm Friday. According to UI Police, Longmire and another woman stole phones, cash, credit cards and debit cards from the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center women’s locker room on May 24th. She then went directly to Coral Ridge Mall and used the stolen cards to purchase $1,275.78 in goods and services.

Longmire is charged with Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card, 3rd Degree Theft and 5th Degree Theft. If convicted on all charges, she faces a maximum of over seven years in prison.
