An Iowa City woman was picked up early Thursday morning on a warrant relating to a burglary in Coralville last month.

28-year-old Samantha Noah of Mosswood Lane is accused of stealing several 32 inch Samsung HDTVs from Hotworx in Coralville in mid-August. On September 12th, detectives received information that one of those TVs was pawned at a Cedar Rapids EZ Pawn location the day before.

The person who pawned the TV was identified as Noah, as she provided her Iowa Drivers License to complete the transaction. A subsequent search warrant was executed at Noah’s residence, where a Chromebox mini-computer was found. It was listed among the items stolen from the same Hotworx burglary.

Noah was arrested and charged with 4th degree theft, a serious misdemeanor punishable by a jail sentence of up to one year.
