A Coralville sex offender has been arrested after police say he removed his GPS monitoring device.
41-year-old Carldray Tucker of the Iowa Lodge on the Coralville Strip was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 4:45 Monday afternoon on a parole violation. Arrest records indicate Tucker removed his GPS monitoring device on his own without permission on Saturday and his whereabouts since had been unknown.
Police say Tucker has also missed office appointments and Sex Offender Treatment Group meetings the last two months, and has continually used marijuana since last July.
Tucker was convicted of 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse in 2007 in Linn County. The victim is listed as a woman over the age of 18.
