A fourth victim has been identified in the Christmas night shooting in Coralville.
The victim was not discovered at the scene, but has since sought treatment at a local hospital for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Just after 9:30pm Wednesday, Coralville Police responded to the 900 block of Boston Way for a report of gunshots. The first officer on the scene encountered three adults with gunshot wounds, one of which appeared to be in critical condition. All three were transported by ambulance to area hospitals, one of whom later died.
The victim killed was identified as 30-year-old Gregory Jackson of Iowa City. The cause of death has been ruled a homicide as the result of gunshot wounds to the torso.
Police say information indicates all the involved parties knew each other and this was not a random attack. No one is in custody at this time.
This case remains under investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
