An Iowa City woman faces an Operating While Intoxicated charge after she allegedly hit a support beam at a Coralville apartment complex.
Coralville Police say 23-year-old Brianna Harvey of Hollywood Boulevard was backing up behind 954 Boston Way just before 2:30 Saturday morning when her Toyota Camry hit a support beam holding up a car port. Investigators say Harvey showed multiple signs of intoxication and admitted to consuming several shots. She was taken to the Coralville Police Department, where her blood alcohol content was measured at .215.
Harvey was arrested and charged with OWI. There is no indication of how badly the support beam was damaged.
