An Iowa City man has been arrested after allegedly sending an image of a woman engaged in a sex act to her new boyfriend.
Police say the incident involves 31-year-old Tremell Wilkins of the Town and Campus Apartments on Arthur Street. Early on January 27th, he sent an image of the woman to the man via Facebook. The woman told authorities that she had not given Wilkins permission to share the image.
A warrant was issued for Wilkins’ arrest, and he was booked at the Johnson County Jail Thursday morning. He’s been charged with 1st degree Harassment, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by a jail term of up to two years if convicted.
