A Wilton man faces drunk driving charges after allegedly crashing into two different vehicles in Iowa City.

Just after 11:30 Friday night Iowa City Police received a report of a 2015 Chevy Equinox striking another vehicle in front of The Summit on South Clinton Street before fleeing the scene eastbound on Iowa Avenue. The suspect’s car was found at the Dubuque Street Casey’s after it allegedly hit a parked car there. Police say the driver, 58-year-old Daniel Parsons of Spicer Avenue, showed signs of intoxication, performed poorly on field sobriety tests and refused breath testing. He was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated – 2nd Offense.
