UI Police investigate report of sexual assault at Iowa football game

University of Iowa Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault that occurred during last Friday’s Hawkeye football game.

According to a news release from the UI Department of Public Safety, school officials received a report of inappropriate touching, a form of sexual assault, that occurred last Friday at approximately 3:50 p.m. in a family restroom at Kinnick Stadium. The suspect fled when the victim pushed him away.

The suspect was described as a 6-foot-tall white male in his early-to-mid 40s with long auburn hair and a peppered goatee or beard. He was wearing a black sweatshirt with the word “Hawkeyes” in gold lettering across the chest that had yellow bands on the upper bicep sleeves, and a stocking hat with a yellow, black, and white yarn ball on top.
