Tiffin man arrested on weapons warrant

A Tiffin man was arrested on a weapons warrant after a search of his home turned up firearms.

Police executed a search warrant at the home of 48-year-old William Baldwin on September 28th. His bedroom reportedly contained five firearms.

Baldwin is a convicted felon, and was convicted back in 2015 for Dominion or Control of a Firearm by a felon.

An arrest warrant was issued on Tuesday, and he was booked at the Johnson County Jail that evening. He was charged with Dominion or Control of a Firearm by a felon, a Class D Felony punishable by a prison term of up to five years if convicted.
