A rural Johnson County man faces stalking and sexual exploitation of a minor charges.
A Washington County deputy reports encountering 21-year-old Keegan Gingerich of 560th Street SW on the 700 block of 5th Street in Kalona just after 1:45 Thursday afternoon. Records indicate Gingerich was wanted on charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor – Causing to Engage in a Sex Act, Stalking a Person Under the Age of 18, Stalking Using a Technological Device, Purchasing or Possessing a Depiction of a Minor Involved in a Sex Act, and Invasion of Privacy. He was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.
If convicted on all charges, Gingerich faces a maximum of 52 years in prison. A preliminary hearing is set for February 9th.
