The City of Iowa City is holding a special election on Tuesday to fill the District C vacancy on the city council. All Iowa City residents can vote.
Local businessman Ross Nusser and community housing advocate Oliver Weilein are vying to serve in the open seat through the end of 2027.
Also on Tuesday, Swisher residents will be voting on a Local Option Sales Tax.
To enter your address and find your precinct, visit the Auditor’s website.
Polls are open Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can also vote in either election Monday at the auditor’s office on South Dubuque Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
