A vehicle fire shut down one of the Interstate 380 Swisher exits Saturday night.
The Jefferson-Monroe Fire Department and firefighters from North Liberty responded to the car fire on the northbound off-ramp just after 5:00. The fire was quickly extinguished, but the fire and ensuing cleanup closed the ramp for about an hour.
There were no reported injuries.
