Cedar Rapids Police are investigating an early Sunday morning shots fired incident reported in the 200 Block of 2nd Ave SE. Officers were dispatched at approximately 1:29a.m. and found evidence of shots fired but observed no damage and no victims were located.
A large group of people was in the area and law enforcement partners assisted CRPD in dispersing the crowd.
Investigation into this incident is ongoing, and witnesses are asked to come forward and speak with police by calling 319-286-5491.
