An Atalissa business has made a $5000 donation to the Event Center project on the Muscatine County Fairgrounds.

StarStruck Masonry is owned by Steven Struck and Kassy Veach, they and their children have made the fair a family event for years.

The event center will be where the 4-H and FFA projects are housed during the fair. It will also be a place where 4-H meetings and workshops can take place year-round. The event center right now is on track to be finished in early 2026. The foundation and floor have been poured, along with much of the underground work has been done. Framing of the building is taking place now and is going very well.

To sponsor an area of the project or to make a donation, contact Kelsey Meyers at the Muscatine County Fair Office at 319-627-2414 or at muscatinecountyfair@gmail.com.
