A car driving down a Muscatine alley struck and killed a person on foot Friday morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says the victim was pulling weeds on a rock-covered hillside along Sunrise Lane just before 10:15 a.m. A 2015 GMC truck turned down the alley and struck the person, who later died at UnityPoint-Trinity Muscatine Hospital.
The identities of the victim and the driver have not yet been released.
