The Iowa State Patrol has identified the person who was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Louisa County.

The official accident report indicates a 2011 Chevy HHR was southbound on County Road W66 just after 11:45 a.m. when it came to a stop at the intersection with County Road G52, which is between Columbus Junction and Crawfordsville.

The vehicle then proceeded through the stop sign despite a westbound semi traveling through the intersection with the right-of-way. The semi hit the Chevy, with one person being killed.

That victim has now been identified as 37-year-old Kathleen Hayes of Morning Sun. The incident remains under investigation.
