Cedar Rapids Police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred Thursday afternoon.
At approximately 1:34pm, officers were dispatched to the Union Apartment Complex on 21st Avenue SW on reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers learned that a juvenile girl victim was being driven in a personal vehicle to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident reportedly occurred in the parking lot of the complex.
