As her rookie season with the Washington Mystics ended last week, former Iowa Hawkeyes star Lucy Olsen revealed on her numerous social media platforms that her personal and trademark slogan “Basketball is Fun” will now have its own website with various merchandise available for purchase.
Olsen’s rookie season appearances came mostly from off the bench, with a highlight 19-point game against the Minnesota Lynx on July 3rd. She finished averaging 4 points per game on 41.5 percent shooting in 41 games.
During her announcement, Olsen explained that the website launch is just another step in rolling out the “Basketball is Fun” logo. T-Shirts, hoodies and other merch features references to the Mystics and the University of Iowa. More merchandise will be coming soon.
