A Hills man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to numerous charges that he sexually abused minors.
Court records indicate 44-year-old Cesar Santos Adame reached a plea deal in September. He was facing up to 87 years in prison if convicted on two counts of 2nd degree Sexual Abuse, two counts of Indecent Contact with a Child, and one count each of 3rd degree Sexual Abuse and Lascivious Acts with a Minor.
On Monday, Judge Chad Kepros dismissed the 2nd and 3rd degree Sexual Abuse charges, and sentenced Santos Adame to the maximum two years each on the counts of Indecent Contact with a Child and a year for Lascivious Acts with a Minor. Kepros ordered the sentences to be served consecutively, which means Santos Adame will spend five years in prison.
In addition, he will have to comply with the Sex Offender Registry provisions for ten years upon release.
Santos Adame was accused of groping girls inside of his Main Street residence between May of 2016 and September of 2022. Alleged victims ranged in age from under 12 years old to 15 years of age. No details were provided on how many victims were involved or whether multiple charges applied for the same victims.
