Three people were transported to University of Iowa Health Care after a two-vehicle crash outside of West Branch.
The Iowa State Patrol says a 2018 Jeep Renegade was westbound on 290th Street just west of Delta Avenue at 6:00 Monday night when it crossed the center line and struck an oncoming 2010 Chevy Silverado.
The driver of the Jeep…39-year-old Ryan Butler of Atalissa..and the driver of the Silverado…45-year-old Dillon Williams of Tipton…were both taken to the UIHC Hawkins Drive campus. A third victim…43-year-old Brian Laschke of Iowa City…was also taken to UIHC. The State Patrol says neither Williams nor Laschke were wearing seat belts.
The crash blocked both lanes of traffic and remains under investigation.
