DNR seeks public’s help in Johnson County deer poaching investigation

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is seeking the public’s help in solving a Johnson County deer poaching case.

A post on the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page indicates the incident occurred sometime between the evening of Tuesday, December 17th and the morning of Wednesday, December 18th.

A deer was unlawfully taken from a wildlife refuge north of Sutliff on the Johnson/Linn County line. Those who provide information leading to charges can be eligible for cash rewards from Iowa’s Turn In Poachers program.
