A suspect is in custody as a result of a search warrant executed on an Iowa City residence last month.
University of Iowa Police say the warrant was executed on the Van Buren Street residence of 38-year-old Christopher Henderson at 8:00 on the morning of December 10th. The search reportedly turned up marijuana and ecstasy.
Henderson has a previous marijuana conviction from Washington County in 2024. He’s now charged with Possession of Marijuana – 2nd Offense and Possession of a Controlled Substance. If convicted on both counts, he faces a maximum of two years in jail.
