The 2026 route has been announced for the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, or RAGBRAI.
The route, announced Saturday night, will run through northern Iowa this year July 18-25. The ride starts in Onawa with overnight stops in Harlan, Guthrie Center, Boone, Marshalltown, Independence, and Dyersville before ending in Dubuque.
2026 will be RAGBRAI’s shortest-ever route and tenth hilliest, covering 391.4 miles and 16,027 feet of climb.
