The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a body that was found on Interstate 80 in Cedar County.
The official accident report indicates troopers were called to westbound I-80 near the Durant exit just after 5:45 Saturday morning for a deceased person who appeared to have been hit by a vehicle or vehicles. The body was taken to the Department of Criminal Investigation lab in Ankeny for testing.
No other details have been released.
