Johnson County Conservation news release
Johnson County Iowa Conservation has announced the closure of the River Junction Access Boat Ramp and Camping area, located in southern Johnson County, until further notice and effective immediately.
This decision is a direct consequence of the prevailing flood warning impacting the lower Iowa River in Johnson County and its associated tributaries in that part of the county.
The aforementioned recreational area will remain inaccessible until the flood risks in the vicinity have sufficiently receded.
