A Riverside woman faces possible jail time after a welfare check reportedly found her operating a vehicle while under the influence.

Police came upon a 2008 Mercury on the 200 block of East Court Street just after 1:15am Thursday. It was sitting at a stop light for an extended period, and a burned-out license plate light. They made contact with 19-year-old Angelina Roling, and allegedly observed her with bloodshot watery eyes, slurred speech, and difficulty with finger dexterity. The odor of ingested alcohol was also reportedly observed.

Roling performed poorly on field tests and allegedly admitted to drinking before driving. She refused a PBT but consented to a Datamaster test, showing her breath-alcohol level at .203 percent.

Post-arrest, Roling was found to have a THC vape on her person, along with a fictitious ID. An alcoholic beverage was allegedly found in the vehicle’s trunk.

Roling was charged with OWI second offense, possession of a fictitious ID, marijuana possession, and cited for possession of alcohol by an underage person. If convicted on the criminal charges, she could be sentenced to up to four years in prison.
