The City of Riverside is warning that it will soon be stepping up its parking enforcement.
The city made that announcement Friday on its official Facebook page. City officials remind those parking within city limits to check nearby signs for restrictions and time limits; park with the passenger side against the curb when parallel parking; don’t park in front of fire hydrants, mailboxes, driveways, or crosswalks; don’t block sidewalks, alleyways, or intersections; and don’t park in the right-of-way between the property line and the curb line.
A full breakdown of parking regulations can be found in Chapter 69 of the Riverside Code of Ordinances. A link to that chapter can be found here.
