Multiple agencies responded to a fire in rural Solon Friday afternoon.
Firefighters from Solon, North Liberty, West Branch and Iowa City and the Johnson County Ambulance Service were called to what was initially reported as a vegetation fire at 4778 210th Street…between Solon and Morse…just before 5 p.m. A later call indicated the fire was working its way toward a nearby structure. Mutual aid was eventually called off, and crews were on the scene for just under one hour.
No other details have been released.
