A Texas man has been charged with OWI after a weekend incident.

37-year-old Tyler Zoz of Dallas was called in by multiple witnesses on I380 North for reported erratic driving, driving at high speeds, and throwing things out of the window of his vehicle. A Johnson County deputy pulled him over after he allegedly crossed the center line and nearly caused an accident.

Upon contact, Zoz reportedly had slurred slow and thick speech, with watery eyes, unsteady balance and the odor of ingested alcohol.

Although he admitted to drinking before getting behind the wheel, Zoz refused all field and chemical testing. He was charged with OWI first offense and could face up to a year in jail if convicted.
